	Brief

	One of Australia and New Zealand’s most loved hotel brands, QT offers exceptional and personalised guest experiences. With each of QT’s locations embracing the unique personality of that area, QT needed a master brand that united their brand while still celebrating the individuality at the heart of their brand. We were tasked with creating a visual identity that matched the hotel experience — unexpected, unconventional and unrestricted.


	Solution


	No two QT experiences are the same, and we wanted the same idea to translate into their visual identity — a brand with as much license to express itself as possible. With the unchanging assets of the QT logo and a black and white palette, all other elements of the brand are flexible. A variety of typographic styles and treatments, plus a suite of motion patterns all inspired by individual aspects of the hotels themselves, bring the wonderfully weird QT personality to life.

	Brief

	Hearing Australia (previously Australian Hearing) has been providing world-leading research and hearing services to Australians for over 70 years. Despite this, the brand was failing to reflect the progressive spirit and innovation practices that sat at the core of the business. 

Additionally, the industry of hearing loss had become a symbol of ageing and negativity. Hearing loss is scary and intimidating; we needed to change the conversation, and Hearing Australia was to become the lighthouse brand to do so. 


	Solution


	We developed a brand strategy and identity focused on ‘Celebrating Sound’. Working closely with Hearing Australia, we used this idea to inspire every aspect of our brand. A brand where you could hear, see and feel the sound. A brand built by sound. 

Sound inspires a suite of two and three dimensional motion forms. Sound can be seen in our photography and illustrations. Sound informs the materials in our centres and the texture of our uniforms. Sound is at the heart of every decision we’ve made.

	Australian summers are iconic, but they’re also absolute scorchers.
Since the 90s, Australians have been enjoying the icier side of their favourite soft drinks to get them through a hot summer's day.
As the Frozen offer expanded, the overall experience and identity was inconsistent and fragmented across multiple brands, customers and price points.
So how do you unite a famous yet uniquely diverse range of brands and deliver the experience that goes one better?
Well it’s simple really, you freeze them.

	We developed the Frozen brand platform idea: 'Amplify your favourite experiences'. It was all about taking fun to the next level and making great moments with frozen and friends even more exciting.A unique 'Frozen' identity ties all the soft drinks together under one brand whilst not detracting from the individual products. Allowing us to add a playful approach - amplifying the fun and seriously unserious character of Frozen.&#38;nbsp;

	Brief


	Security is becoming increasingly technology-focused, but in a world driven by AI, it’s often the human intelligence that matters most.

Telstra SNP Monitoring came to us looking for a full rebrand. The new name Sapio, from Sapien, meaning wise man or woman, positions the security company as one that combines innovative technology with human expertise and instinct.

Sapio looks behind the data, beyond the black and white. They look for gaps, the hidden and unexpected. They see the spaces between.


	Solution


	‘The spaces between’ became a simple graphic mechanism that inspired our brand.

The edge of a book, underneath a box lid, or in between doors become the spots where our brand lives, and highlights the observative nature of Sapio.

	We think all hotels are created the same, but shouldn’t be. They adhere to the same ideas and concepts. Mini-bars, concierges and room service. And the same tired language. The traditional model is old — so let’s fix it. Let’s throw out the rule book and focus on making a hotel that people really want to stay in.

With hotels being increasingly corporate, conventional and stuck in their ways we were tasked with creating a hotel brand that challenges the category and stands out from the competition. What would the thoughtfully disruptive hotel look and speak like?

	Welcome to Crystalbrook Collection. The group that acts surprisingly different to the hotels you’ve come to know.A brand idea of ‘Positive Rebellion’ allowed us to challenge the conventions of the hotel world through a verbal-led brand experience. Our confident, self-aware and tongue-in-cheek voice puts a spin on the expected and disrupts the tired and corporate clichés of the hotel world.

	Brief

	One of four Grand Slams- the most important tennis tournaments globally, the Australian Open came to us back in 2015 for a complete rebrand. The Australian Open has always been known as the happy slam. Far from the traditional and stuffy preconceptions of tennis, the AO has always been synonymous with summer, fun and full of energy- putting players through their paces with the heat of the tournament, and so close to fans they can literally touch them.
Throughout the years the AO has transformed from a single tournament to a festival of entertainment- with live music, fine dining options and grass roots tennis accompanying the major tournament and an event that completely takes over Melbourne from January- February each year. 


	Solution


	Along with being the first major of the tennis tours, the AO is home to many firsts- first to introduce retractable roofs for their tennis stadiums, new styles of game formats and one of the first to introduce equal pay. 
It’s brand however, did not reflect this. 

We needed to reinvent an out-of-date brand and shift perceptions from a summer event to a future-focused entertainment brand.The strategy of ‘Game-Changer’ was born. A way to represent to the world that the Australian Open was a tournament of the modern era constantly changing, adapting and reinventing itself.

	I’ve been fortunate enough to have worked on the tools as lead animator / designer / compositor / director on a wide array of motion graphics projects throughout the years.

All a mixture of After Effects, Premiere Pro and C4D.
